STOICA, Pompei-Ioan

Ioan passed away peacefully and surrounded by the love of his family at Strathcarron Hospice on Wednesday 27th March, aged 37 years. Devoted husband to Petya, a much-loved dad to Paula-Ioanna also a beloved son, brother and a great friend to many. Ioan formally from Romania will be best known and remembered for his years spent as a dedicated chef in the local restaurant Cafe Corvina.  His love for family and his passion for food are what made him smile and are just some of the many things he will be remembered for as well as his strong character, wonderful sense of humour and knowing how to make the most out of life.

An amazing husband and also a wonderful dad and friend. All of these roles Ioan played have left so many beautiful memories which will be treasured forever.

A wonderful person who will be greatly missed by everyone.

A service of celebration for the life of Ioan will take place on Wednesday 10th April at 10 am in Falkirk Crematorium Service Room and thereafter to New Grandsable Cemetery at 11:15 am. 

Family and friends are welcome to attend.

Donations, if so, desired can be made in memory of Ioan for Strathcarron Hospice and can be left following the service or donated personally through the link in Ioan’s memorial page above.

Friends and loved ones are invited to contribute to Ioan’s memorial page by sharing fond memories and photographs of Ioan or lighting a memorial candle and leaving a message for his family to keep and take comfort from following his service day.
